because i got a job babysitting three doggies tomorrow.
I went over there an hour ago so that the owner would be satisfied that they wouldn’t be terrified of me (these dogs are pretty neurotic), but the (re-)introduction went well: they lurve me, which means i’ma get paid to watch them tomorrow, yes!! score!
(Not that i wouldn’t have gotten the job anyway, really, because the owner is a close family friend and i love dogs and i have this sort of job experience, plus it’s short notice, so everything was pointing toward me getting the gig.)
I have to go over again after my Latin tutoring, and the plan is to be a sort of “trial run” to see if the pups totally freak out when i come into the house alone. We’ll see how that goes. Keep you posted.
